SRH Berlin Managing Director Dr. Thorsten Bagschik receives "Amity Global Academic Excellence Award"
The Managing Director of SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences Dr. Thorsten Bagschik was awarded the "Amity Global Academic Excellence Award" at the 23rd "Inbush Era World Summit" in Noida/India at the end of February. The event is the largest international business summit and research conference in Asia.
Dr. Thorsten Bagschik was a panellist at the "Indo-Germany Session" of the conference. His presentation revolved around the topic "Reimagining, Rethinking and Rebuilding Indo-German Relations towards New Academic Alliance". Other panellists included the Deputy Director General of the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce, Sonia Parashar, and the Managing Director and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Research and Development in India, Manu Saale.
The conference was hosted by Amity University in Noida/India. It is part of the Amity Education Group, which operates 11 universities and 25 schools in India, Dubai, Singapore, Kenya, South Africa, the US and the UK, among others, with more than 175,000 university and school students in total.
On this occasion, a Memorandum of Understanding was also signed between Amity Education Group and SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences with the aim of broadening and deepening Indo-German academic collaboration.
