The textbook specifically on the area of „Management“ in the creative industries includes theories and approaches to creative leadership and new forms of management in between arts and business. These can be transferred to other areas of knowledge work and innovative businesses. The book also discusses some insights from the life of the study programme B.A. Creative Industries Management that has started as one of the first B.A. programmes in this field in summer 2017.

Over the past years it has grown and in practical projects with international and Berlin creatives brought to life many of the theories – and also showed how other approaches failed in real-life. It indicates with concepts are useful and promising and gives examples how they can be applied. #

The author thanks the students, many international colleagues, creatives and artists with which the study programme cooperated over the past years. This includes Prof. Dr. Svenja Tams, Professor of Management, Organizations and Leadership, who has delivered a contribution on „Boundaryless Careers“. Other SRH professors and teachers have contributed, for example Prof. Dr. Dr. Marcel Bisges (law in the creative industries), Sigrid Peuker and Dr. Klaus Kammermeier (Entrepreneurship) and Prof. Dr. Nadja Sennewald (Creative Writing).
