
Teaching & Training
With Erasmus+, all employees (teachers, lecturers, administrative staff, trainees, etc.) of SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences have the opportunity to apply for financial support for, e.g. a teaching assignment or job shadowing at a partner university or for further training relevant to their own area of work. The selection is based on the criteria of how the trip contributes to the internationalisation of SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences, how profitable the trip is for the SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences in general, i.e. the students benefit from it in their teaching or do new cooperation projects apply, etc., and of course also on the available budget.
Faculty members of the SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences - professors, (external) lecturers as well as research assistants - can apply for funding for a stay at an Erasmus+ partner university.
You can gain teaching experience abroad, make contacts and explore cooperation opportunities. At the same time, you strengthen the European dimension of the host university, complement its teaching offer and provide cross-border expertise to students who cannot or do not want to study abroad.
Place of mobility:
Teaching is possible at all partner universities of SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences with which the university or one of its schools has an Erasmus+ agreement. Eligible countries include the member states of the EU, Northern Macedonia, Serbia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Turkey (programme countries).
Important: The country must not be your main country of residence. If you would like to teach at a partner universities outside the Erasmus+ programme countries, please contact the International Office at SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences to inquire about your possibilities.
Duration of mobility:
In order to give as many lecturers as possible the opportunity to do guest lectures, the SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences supports stays between two days and two weeks. However, a maximum of 60 consecutive working days are allowed, which will be decided on a case-by-case basis. The minimum number of hours corresponds to 8 hours of lessons per week.
Seminars, lectures, talks, tutorials, supervision of doctoral students etc. A physical presence at the partner university is required. Online lectures from Germany are excluded.

You usually have 30 days to submit these documents. Once all the documents have been submitted, the second instalment of the Erasmus+ grant can be paid.
Employees of the SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences from Administration, Library, Finance, International Office, Marketing, Student Counselling, Technology, Transfer, Continuing Education and Teaching can apply for Erasmus+ funding for staff mobility such as further education and training.
The Erasmus+ programme supports further education and training measures (except for research projects with direct research relevance and conferences) at corresponding institutions abroad and job shadowing at an Erasmus+ partner university.
Place of mobility:
A stay abroad is possible at a partner university of SRH with an Erasmus+ partnership agreement, in a company or in another relevant workplace abroad. In order to ensure high-quality mobility activities with the highest possible impact, the activity must be related to the staff's professional development and meet the requirements regarding their learning outcomes and personal development. Eligible countries include EU Member States, Northern Macedonia, Serbia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Turkey (Programme Countries).

The exchange with representatives of international companies, for example through guest lectures and seminars at the schools of the SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences, can also be supported by Erasmus+ funds.
The guest lecturers contribute with their experience and perspective to the international diversity on the campuses of the SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences and provide an insight into everyday business life. In return, they can use the guest lecture not only for their personal enrichment, but also to make useful contacts for possible research, development, thesis and/or company projects.
The Erasmus+ programme financially supports guest lectures with a duration of 2 to 14 consecutive (lecture) days. It is expected that activities directly related to the mobility programme will be planned for each day of the lecturer's visit.
The start and end dates are the first and last day on which the lecturer is present at the SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences to carry out the activities described in the Mobility Agreement.
The exact dates of the guest lecture (in accordance with the above-mentioned Erasmus+ regulations) must be discussed and agreed upon with the programme director of the study programme which the guest lecture will be part of.
