Media Technology

If you want to book a studio, a specialist room or hire equipment please send us the information listed below two days in advance via e-mail to medientechnik.sopa@srh.de or medientechnik.bsdc@srh.de, depending on the location. 

The processing time of the requests can take up to 2 working days. The maximum booking period is 3 days (72 hours).

4. study programme
5. semester
6. type of use (recording, mixing, shooting etc.)
7. date and time (pick up & return)
8. desired room
9. required equipment (article, quantity)

If you provide us with all the necessary information, you will receive a confirmation of the reservation from our booking system to your university e-mail address as well as the dates for picking up and returning the equipment.

1. You can book a maximum of 4 hours per session or 6 hours for recording (drums, band).
2. For more than 4 hours, you will need to offer a justification for the longer booking period (recording, film sound mixing, etc.).
3. Upon request to the Media Technology department, bookings of a maximum of 8 hours or 10 hours for recording, are allowed.
4. If permission is granted, it is possible to book a total of 16 hours per week or 20 hours for recordings. These can be split.

The use of the photo studio at the Berlin School of Popular Arts requires the oversight of an authorised student supervisor. This person is assigned by the Media Technology department.

The use of the photo studio at the Berlin School of Design and Communication does not require an authorised student supervisor; when booked, it can be used at any time during opening hours.

If you want to book a rehearsal room at "Noisy Rooms", send your request two days in advance from your SRH student e-mail address to medientechnik.sopa@srh.de. Please include the following information:

1. full name
2. university e-mail address (firstname.lastname@stud.srh-campus-berlin.de)
3. number of band members
4. date and period
5. required equipment (piano, dj etc.)
6. preferred room

If you provide us with all the necessary information, we will send you a confirmation of the booking to your university e-mail address. 

1. You can book a maximum of 4 hours per week. These can be split.
2. If you want to book more than 4 hours please justify the longer booking period (exam, concert, etc.).
3. Upon special request to the media services team, it is possible to book a maximum of 6 hours per week.
4. If there are other students from SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences in the band, they can book additional hours.
