The SWRI aims to contribute to solving the challenges posed by demographic change - especially with regard to the management of businesses.
The goal of the SWRI is to investigate the conditions of older employees in the context of recruitment, employee motivation and retention. In doing so, the approach of age management will be used to identify conditions that are conducive or obstructive to the active employment of older workers. The analysis focuses on silver workers, i.e. active persons between 65 and 79 years of age who are formally retired and at the same time continue to work for pay.
