Nica's artistic work focus is on photography and the moving image. Since her graduation as a film director in 2005 at the Filmuniversität Potsdam-Babelsberg and as a Photographer from Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design London in 2008 she collaborated as an artist with institutions such as the Goethe Institute Shanghai, Tokyo, Jakarta, Paris, Lyon and Marseille, Institute Français Cambodia as well as the German Embassy Tokyo and Reykjavik amongst others. As a visual artist her work was published internationally by “photo nouvelles“ France, „papersky“ Japan, „dazed and confused“ und „photoworks UK. She also finished her Ph.D. studies in artistic research at the Kunstuniversität Linz in Austria.
