Martin de Crignis

Martin de Crignis is a photographer and communication scientist. Both photographically and scientifically, he explores the thematic complexes of gay semiotics, gay aesthetics, and the male body. In doing so, he examines media representations in consideration of social, aesthetic, and historical conditions and processes. At Berlin School of Design and Communication he teaches discourses of photography and exhibition design.
