Topic: The challenge of integrating artificial intelligence in the supply chain (English)
The supply chain has been in the media in the last years: Supply chain disruptions, material shortages, closed harbors are some of the topics reported. Supply Chain Management students will learn all the tools to help companies to excel in their supply chain. Now, there is a lot of discussion on Generative AI such as ChatGPT.

Prof. Dr. Torsten Becker head of the study program supply chain management talks about the impact of these new tools on the supply chain. At the same time Prof Becker will show, how the skills learned in the supply chain management studies will help you to improve the use of AI.

Topic: Supply chains and the importance of working with suppliers in car manufacturing (English)
Supply chains are networks of companies working together to make and deliver products, like cars. In this trial lecture you learn why the cooperation with suppliers is vital for car manufacturers as it ensures quality parts, timely delivery, cost savings, and access to innovation, ultimately leading to better cars for consumers.

As a former senior manager at BMW Prof. Dr. Axel Werner held various management positions for over 20 years, including Head of Production and Logistics. During his time at BMW, he contributed significantly to the optimization of production processes, compliance with quality standards and the development of innovative solutions.
