1 support programme - 6 mobilities.

Mobility 1
Erasmus+ for your studies abroad

Are you enrolled at SRH Berlin? Do you have good knowledge of the language of instruction at your chosen partner university? And have you completed at least one academic year of study before the start of your planned study abroad?

Then you can apply for an Erasmus+ scholarship. The amount of the Erasmus grant depends on:

  • Host country
  • Exact length of your studies abroad
  • SRH Berlin's Erasmus+ budget

Mobility 1 Information about the process

For bachelor's students, the 2nd year of study is the ideal period for a stay abroad (3rd and/or 4th semester / AKM semester). In some cases, the 3rd academic year can also be considered an option.

Master's students should discuss with their programme director when the time abroad is best suited.

As soon as you have received an acceptance letter from an ERASMUS partner university, you can apply for an ERASMUS grant at the International Office with the following documents:

  • current certificate of enrolment
  • declaration on previous participation
  • Learning agreement (with all relevant signatures)
  • acceptance letter or email from the host university
  • if necessary, proof of preparatory language course in the host country before the start of the semester

The required application documents can be found above. Please read the ERASMUS schedule for studying abroad carefully for the following steps in the application process.

You will receive the first payment of your scholarship upon arrival at your host university. Have your host university confirm your arrival (arrival form) and send us the document by email.

You will receive the second instalment of your scholarship at the end of your studies. In order to receive it, please send us:

  • Last part of the study abroad learning agreement
  • Confirmation letter signed by the host university
  • Completed EUSurvey
  • Second part of the OLS language test (you will receive an invitation to take the test by email after the end of your studies)
  • Final report on your stay (1-2 pages in German or English. Topics: preparation for studying abroad, finding accommodation, experiences during your studies)

With your permission we will make these reports available to other students.

Please note that the SRH Berlin University of Applied Science is obliged by the DAAD/European Commission to collect personal data of all ERASMUS participants and to provide the European Commission with a proof of use. This procedure complies with the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). By signing the ERASMUS Grant Agreement, you confirm that you are aware of and consent to this agreement.

Mobility 6
Erasmus+ for guest lecturers from abroad

The exchange with representatives of international companies, for example through guest lectures and seminars at the schools of the SRH Berlin, can also be supported through Erasmus funds.

The guest lecturers contribute with their experience and their perspective to the international diversity on the SRH campus and provide an insight into the everyday life of the company. In return, they can not only use the guest lecture for their personal enrichment, but also establish useful contacts for possible research, development, diploma thesis and/or company projects.

Mobility 6 Information about the process

The Erasmus+ programme financially supports guest lectures with a duration of 2 to 60 consecutive (lecture) days. It is expected that activities directly related to the mobility programme will be planned for each day of the lecturer's visit.

The start and end dates are the first and last day on which the lecturer is present at the SRH Berlin to carry out the activities described in the Teaching Mobility Agreement.

Due to limited funds, it is usually not possible to financially support guest lectures of more than 1-2 weeks duration. The exact dates of the guest lecture (in accordance with the above-mentioned Erasmus+ regulations) must be discussed and agreed upon with the programme director of the course which the guest lecture will be part of.

  • Ask the International Office internationaloffice.hsbe@srh.de about the possibilities of a guest lectureship at the SRH Berlin University of Applied Sciences and discuss the time frame and content
  • Check the admissibility of your guest lecture according to the ERASMUS regulations (see schedule in the downloads)
  • Please contact your (potential) ERASMUS partner university directly or via the International Office
  • As soon as all details of the guest lecture are known, fill out the Mobility Agreement - Teaching and have it signed by all three parties
  • Check your visa
  • Submit your travel request

Please submit the following completed and signed ERASMUS documents to the International Office of SRH Berlin:
