Nelson Mandela University

The University of Port Elizabeth is located between Durban and Cape Town on the Indian Ocean. It is the result of a merger of several smaller institutions and focuses on applied sciences. It is a young university directly on the Indian Ocean, which is very energetic and is increasingly distinguishing itself as a place of study and research. The student exchange between SRH Berlin and NMU is based on a 1:1 exchange, which means that tuition fees are mutually waived if one person wants to go to the partner university at a time; otherwise, tuition fees are charged. These are manageable for students from Germany and can be covered by the Auslandsbafög. German students can apply for a PROMOS or HAW.International scholarship.
