About me
I am a "professional tourist": After an apprenticeship with Hapag-Lloyd Travel Agencies and two seasons as a representative for TUI on the Portuguese island of Madeira I studied International Tourism Management at the University of Applied Sciences, Bremen. I have been working on cruise ships in the position of Cruise Director (especially with Phoenix Reisen onboard MV Amadea) and have worked as a consultant to tour operators. For more than ten years I have taught tourism- and business-related topics. My focus is on the relation between theory and "real life" as well as a continuous exchange with students from different cultural backgrounds.
