In her participatory photo project HOW WE BLEED, Franziska Lange shows what menstrual blood actually looks like. The visual language clearly distinguishes itself from aestheticizing representations in the media and breaks with a taboo.

The work has received widespread media attention, including interviews and articles in "Die Zeit", "Deutschlandfunk Kultur", "Vice-Magazine" and "Brigitte".
The visual archive is constantly being expanded. Submissions are still possible.
