As part of the Creative EU programme arne - artist-run network Europe, the Berlin School of Popular Arts organised a workshop on capacity building in self-organised and artist-run project spaces, galleries, and music events.

Successful workshop on the inner workings of the self-organised art scene at >top project space in Berlin
"The goal is to encourage students to realise their own exhibitions, performances and music events without being dependent on commercial market structures.” says media artist Kim Dotty Hachmann about this workshop format. “We had three days of bubbling creativity and the students developed brilliant ideas. They also gained insights into the field of artist-run spaces and the knowledge of how to set up and run their own artist initiative or project space.”
A second workshop will take place in February 2022.
